Personal interests

In my spare time, I'm a big fan of music, from listening (I listen to a wide variety of music, ranging from classical to rock to electronic), to attending (in particular, classical music and opera venues), to performing (I used to play piano for 10 years, and now sing in an a cappella group at work called Dissonance).

Unsurprisingly, I'm a technology enthusiast, particularly mobile technologies. I used to be a regular editor for Pocket PC Thoughts, and I still blog part-time for them. I guess that makes me a geek, too.

I'm also an avid spectator of baseball and am fortunate to be in the center of the baseball universe. I'm a Yankees fan, but my loyalties are more aligned with seeing and enjoying good baseball, first and foremost.

I also enjoy photography, although I don't consider myself a great photographer just yet. You can see much of my photography here. I've also taken up snowboarding in recent years, and am slowly learning how to actually make it down reasonable slopes without falling. I do also like enjoying the outdoors and traveling with friends.
